How assembly can be done
You have two options:

Self-Assembly
• The package includes all fittings and tools required.
• You will receive a simple, illustrated assembly manual (PDF).
• No advanced skill is needed; most customers can complete the setup in 15–30 minutes depending on the product.

White-Glove Delivery & Installation
• When you select White-Glove Delivery at checkout, our professional team will visit your home.
• They will unpack, assemble, position, and ensure the product is perfectly installed.

• Dust the furniture with a soft microfiber cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth and wipe dry immediately. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleaching agents, or alcohol-based cleaners as they can strip the finish.

Maintain stable room humidity:
• Wood naturally expands and contracts with weather changes. Extremely dry or humid environments can cause warping or minor cracks. Use a humidifier/dehumidifier when needed to maintain balance.

Wipe spills immediately:
• Do not let water, juices, oils, or any liquids sit on the surface. Wipe instantly to prevent stains, swelling, or damage to the veneer/wood.

Use felt pads and protective layers:
• Place felt pads under lamps, décor pieces, or showpieces to avoid scratches. When writing or doing craft work, use mats or protective sheets.

Avoid dragging furniture:
• Dragging can weaken joints, scratch floors, and damage legs. Always lift the furniture properly while moving it from one place to another.

Reapply polish or wax occasionally:
• Depending on usage, polish the furniture every 6–12 months using wood-safe wax or polish recommended for the finish. This preserves shine and adds a protective layer.

Protect from extreme temperatures:
• Keep furniture away from direct AC airflow, heaters, or radiators. Sudden temperature fluctuations can cause wood to shrink, swell, or warp.

Check and tighten fittings periodically:

• Delivery timelines vary based on your location and the type of product ordered.

Returns
• Returns apply only to ready-to-ship products.
• Accepted only for transit damage or wrong product delivered.
• Must be reported within 24 hours with:
• Full unboxing video
• Clear photos
• Product must be in original packaging.
• Custom-made products are non-returnable.

Refunds
• Approved returns are refunded as store credit (valid for 6 months).
• No cash/card refunds.
• Cash refund only if Vilaav Homes cancels the order.

Cancellations
• Orders can be cancelled within 5 hours by emailing support@vilaavhomes.com.
• A 70% cancellation fee applies.
• Remaining 30% is issued as store credit.
• After 5 hours, no cancellations allowed.
• Custom orders cannot be cancelled once design/production starts.

Replacements
• Only replacement parts are provided for genuine defects.
• Defective part must be shipped back by the customer.
• No full product replacements.

Wood Disclaimer
• Wood may show natural variations in grain, knots, texture, and color tone. Minor changes in shade or finish can occur due to handcrafting, batch variation, or natural aging. Wood can naturally expand, contract, or develop minor hairline cracks based on humidity and temperature. Slight dimensional variations may also occur due to manual craftsmanship.

Stone Disclaimer
• Stone surfaces such as marble and granite may show veining, color shifts, mineral patterns, pits, micro-cracks, or natural marks. These are inherent to natural stone.
