1. Order Processing

1.1 All confirmed orders are processed only after full payment (or approved advance, where applicable).

1.2 Production timelines depend on the type of product:

  • Ready-to-Ship Products: Usually dispatched within 7–10 business days.
  • Custom or Made-to-Order Products: Generally take 3–8 weeks for production, depending on design and material availability.

2. Delivery Timelines

2.1 Estimated delivery timelines vary based on your location:

  • Metro Cities: 7–14 business days after dispatch.
  • Tier-2 & Tier-3 Cities: 10–21 business days after dispatch.
  • Remote Locations: May take longer, depending on logistics accessibility.

2.2 Vilaav Homes shares complete tracking details once the product has been dispatched.

3. Delivery Process

3.1 All deliveries are made to the ground floor or main entrance of your address.
3.2 For upper-floor deliveries (without a service lift), manual labor charges may apply — payable directly to the delivery team.
3.3 For large or modular furniture, assembly services are provided only if specified at the time of purchase.
3.4 Customers will be informed in advance about estimated delivery dates and logistics coordination.

4. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure smooth and successful delivery, customers must:
4.1 Provide accurate delivery details (address, contact number, and landmark).
4.2 Ensure someone is available at the delivery address to receive the product.
4.3 Confirm accessibility for large items (door width, staircases, service lifts, etc.).
4.4 Inform Vilaav Homes in advance about any restrictions (timing, gate entry, or permits).

5. Damages During Transit

5.1 All products are securely packed and handled by trusted logistics partners.
5.2 In case of visible damage at the time of delivery:

  • You may refuse the delivery

or

  • Accept with the remarks on the delivery slip and immediately share photos/videos with hello@vilaavhomes.com.

5.3 Claims for transit damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

5.4 Claims made after this period will not be eligible for replacement, refund, or compensation.

6. Delays & Exceptions

6.1 While we aim for on-time delivery, delays may occur due to:

  • Natural calamities or transport strikes
  • Remote delivery locations or restricted zones
  • Custom manufacturing or supply chain challenge.

6.2 Vilaav Homes will notify you promptly if any unavoidable delay occurs.

7. International Shipping

7.1 Currently, Vilaav Homes delivers only within India.

8. Failed Delivery Attempts

8.1 If delivery fails due to incorrect address or customer unavailability, our logistics partner will attempt delivery twice.
8.2 After two unsuccessful attempts, the shipment may be returned to our warehouse.
8.3 Re-delivery can be arranged after payment of applicable re-shipment charges.

9. Order Tracking

9.1 Once your product is dispatched, a tracking link will be shared via email or WhatsApp.
9.2 Tracking updates may take up to 24 hours after dispatch.
