This Disclaimer outlines the limitations, natural variations, and usage considerations that apply to all our products.

By purchasing from Vilaav Homes, customers acknowledge and accept the information provided below.

1. Natural Material Disclaimer

Our products are crafted using natural materials. Each piece is unique, and variations are part of its character. Natural differences should not be considered defects.

What to Expect:

  • Variations in color, texture, grain pattern, knots, and shading in wooden products.
  • Natural stone differences in veining, pattern, crystallization, and color movement.
  • Minor differences in upholstery weave, shade, texture, or stitching due to fabric behavior.

These natural traits enhance authenticity and cannot be replicated perfectly across batches.

2. Wooden Furniture Disclaimer

Natural Variation & Aging

  • Wood is a natural, living material that responds to weather conditions.
  • Slight expansion, contraction, hairline cracks, or seasonal movement may occur.
  • Wood color may mature or lighten over time depending on sunlight exposure.

Finish & Color

  • Differences in lighting, photography, and screen display may cause the product to appear slightly different from pictures.
  • Batch-wise finish variations are normal in handcrafted wooden products.

Dimensional Tolerance

  • Due to hand-finishing, dimensions may vary by ±1–2 cm.
  • Usage Conditions
  • Damage caused by water, direct sunlight, extreme heat/cold, misuse, or lack of care is not covered under warranty.

3. Stone Furniture Disclaimer (Marble, Granite, Quartz & Others)

Natural Characteristics

  • Each stone slab has unique veins, pores, hairline marks, and color patterns.
  • These are inherent natural characteristics and not quality issues.

Porosity & Staining

  • Stone surfaces may absorb liquids. Spills should be cleaned immediately to avoid stains.
  • Marble and some natural stones may react to acidic or colored items.

Surface Aging

  • Over time, stone may develop patina, micro-scratches, or dullness, depending on usage.

Finish Variation

  • Polish, sheen, and color may vary due to natural stone composition.

4. Upholstery & Cushioning Disclaimer

Color & Fabric Variation

  • Batch-wise variations in color tone, weave, or texture may occur depending on fabric lot and lighting conditions.
  • Slight wrinkles or creases are normal and settle with use.

Foam Behavior

  • Cushion firmness reduces gradually with usage. This is natural aging, not a defect.
  • Cushion shape may vary slightly depending on usage patterns.

Wear & Maintenance

  • Exposure to pets, sharp objects, direct sunlight, dust, or harsh cleaners can cause damage not covered under warranty.

Leather Note

  • Genuine leather naturally develops patina, wrinkles, and tonal variations over time.

5. Color & Image Representation Disclaimer

  • Product photos are taken in controlled lighting to show design details clearly.
  • Actual product color may vary due to:
  • Mobile/laptop screen settings
    Indoor lighting
    Natural light variations
    Material batch variations
  • Props used in images—such as décor, rugs, bedding, or mattresses—are not included unless specified.

6. Assembly, Handling & Installation

Self-Assembly Products

  • Some items are shipped in knock-down or semi-knocked-down format to ensure safe transport.
  • Self-assembly instructions (PDF/manual) are provided.
  • Improper assembly causing damage is not covered under warranty.

White-Glove Delivery

  • Customers choosing professional installation will have products assembled by our team.
  • Any post-installation relocation done by the customer is at their own risk.

7. Warranty Limitations & Exclusions

Not Covered Under Warranty:

  • Damage caused by water, moisture, humidity changes, direct heat, or sunlight.
  • Physical damage due to accidents, misuse, or improper handling.
  • Wear and tear such as:
    Fading
    Small scratches
    Upholstery pilling
    Cushion softening
  • Damage caused during customer relocation or shifting.

Covered Only:

  • Manufacturing defects reported within the warranty period.
  • Transit damage reported within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos/videos.

8. Dimension, Fit & Space Disclaimer

Customers must check the product size, room size, and entryway dimensions (doors, lifts, staircases) before ordering.

We are not responsible if the product does not fit in your space due to:

  • Narrow entry points
  • Staircase or lift size limitations
  • Restricted installation areas

Any return or re-delivery due to access issues may incur additional charges.

9. Custom Orders & Made-to-Order Items

For customized products:

  • Color, finish, and design may vary slightly from reference images or samples.
  • Custom items cannot be cancelled, returned, or exchanged once production begins.
  • Natural material limitations apply to all custom requests.

10. Liability Disclaimer

Vilaav Homes is not liable for:

  • Loss or damage caused by misuse, improper installation, or lack of maintenance.
  • Delays caused by logistics partners, weather conditions, or unforeseen disruptions.
  • Customer dissatisfaction due to natural variations or subjective preferences.

Our responsibility is limited to repairing or replacing products that have an approved manufacturing defect.
