1.1 All Vilaav Homes products are covered under a 6-month limited warranty from the date of delivery.
1.2 The warranty applies only to manufacturing defects in material or workmanship under normal residential use.
1.3 The warranty period begins on the date of delivery, not purchase.
2. Scope of Coverage
This warranty covers:
● Structural integrity of solid wood and joinery components.
● Functional hardware like hinges, drawer channels, or handles, if proven defective.
● Manufacturing or material defects that affect product usability or appearance.
3. Exclusions from Coverage
This warranty does not cover:
● Normal wear and tear, minor variations in color, grain, or texture.
● Damages from misuse, negligence, mishandling, or poor maintenance.
● Damage caused by moisture, sunlight, humidity, or temperature variation.
● Damage due to self-assembly, modifications, or repairs by unauthorized persons.
● Upholstery, fabrics, foams, or polish discoloration due to usage.
● Products relocated from the original delivery address by the customer.
4. Warranty Conditions
4.1 The warranty applies only to products purchased directly from Vilaav Homes or its authorized sales channels.
4.2 The product must be used under normal residential conditions.
4.3 Commercial, rental, or outdoor use voids this warranty.
4.4 Original proof of purchase (invoice and delivery note) is required for claim processing.
5. Claim Procedure
5.1 To initiate a warranty claim:
● Report the issue within 24 hours of observing the defect.
● Provide photos and a short video clearly showing the defect.

5.2 Vilaav Homes will verify and respond within a reasonable time after inspection.
5.3 Claims raised beyond 6 months from delivery are not eligible for coverage.
6. Remedies under Warranty

● Replace the defective component or hardware only.
● Offer an equivalent store credit if repair or replacement is impractical.

● Replacement or repair will be done only once per product under the warranty term.
● Full replacement of products is not provided unless explicitly authorized in writing.
7. Transportation & Handling
● The customer is responsible for safely transporting the product or part to and from the Vilaav Homes service point.
● Vilaav Homes is not liable for damages caused during return transit.
● Reverse logistics are not arranged by the company.
8. Warranty Void Conditions
The warranty becomes void if:
● The product is repaired, modified, or altered by the customer or third party.
● The product is used in commercial settings or outdoors.
● The defect arises from incorrect installation, movement, or rough use.
● The product is damaged due to liquid spillage, corrosion, or pests.
● No unboxing video or proper proof of defect is provided for verification.
9. Warranty Limitation
● The decision of Vilaav Homes regarding the repair, replacement, or rejection of a claim is final.
● The total liability of Vilaav Homes shall not exceed the product purchase price.
● Warranty coverage is limited to the specific defective component, not the entire product.
10. Relation with Return & Refund Policy
Warranty claims are distinct from return and refund requests.
Refunds are not provided for warranty claims.
However, store credits may be issued only if authorized by Vilaav Homes.
