YourTaven Bar Chair is delivered as a completely pre-assembled product. This means no installation, fastening, or tool-based setup is needed at your end. To ensure a smooth and safe setup experience, please follow the guidelines below:

Unboxing & Handling
· Carefully cut open the outer packaging without inserting sharp objects too deep, as this may damage the product surface.
· Remove all protective layers, including foam, corner guards, and shrink wrap.
· Lift the Product from the base rather than dragging it, especially on tiled or wooden flooring, to avoid scratches.

Placement & Levelling
· Place the product on a flat, even surface to ensure proper balance and smooth door operation.
· If you notice any wobbling due to uneven flooring, adjust the product position slightly until stable.

Door Function Check
· Open and close the product door a few times to ensure the hinges operate smoothly after transit.
· In case of stiffness due to cold weather or transport movement, the hinge will typically self-adjust within a few days of regular use.

Protection After Setup
· Avoid placing extremely heavy objects on the top surface immediately after unboxing; allow the wood to acclimate to room temperature for 24 hours.
· Maintain at least a few inches of clearance from the wall for smooth airflow around the product.
· This product is ready for immediate use once positioned. No tools, screws, or technician support are required.

Keep away from direct sunlight:
Prolonged exposure to harsh sunlight can cause fading, drying, and surface cracks. Place furniture in shaded areas or use curtains/sheers to diffuse light.

Protect from heat and moisture:
Always use coasters, heat-resistant mats, and table runners under hot dishes, mugs, or planters. Moisture rings and heat marks can permanently damage the wood surface.

Clean gently and regularly:
Dust the furniture with a soft microfiber cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth and wipe dry immediately. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleaching agents, or alcohol-based cleaners as they can strip the finish.

Maintain stable room humidity:
Wood naturally expands and contracts with weather changes. Extremely dry or humid environments can cause warping or minor cracks. Use a humidifier/dehumidifier when needed to maintain balance.

Wipe spills immediately:
Do not let water, juices, oils, or any liquids sit on the surface. Wipe
instantly to prevent stains, swelling, or damage to the veneer/wood.

Use felt pads and protective layers:
Place felt pads under lamps, décor pieces, or showpieces to avoid scratches.
When writing or doing craft work, use mats or protective sheets.

Avoid dragging furniture:
Dragging can weaken joints, scratch floors, and damage legs. Always lift the furniture properly while moving it from one place to another.

Reapply polish or wax occasionally:
Depending on usage, polish the furniture every 6–12 months using wood-safe wax or polish recommended for the finish. This preserves shine and adds a protective layer.

Protect from extreme temperatures:
Keep furniture away from direct AC airflow, heaters, or radiators. Sudden temperature fluctuations can cause wood to shrink, swell, or warp.

Check and tighten fittings periodically:
For products with assembly hardware, lightly tighten screws, bolts, or joints every few months to maintain structural stability and avoid loosening over time.

Use soft materials for cleaning décor on shelves:
When rearranging décor items, always lift and place them gently instead of sliding to avoid micro-scratches.

Shipping

• All products are packed using industry-grade protective materials to ensure safe delivery.
• Depending on the product type, items may be shipped fully assembled or in a semi–knocked-down
  format to prevent transit damage.
• Tracking details will be shared with you as soon as the order is dispatched.
• Delivery timelines vary based on your location and the type of product ordered.
• If the product requires assembly, it will be clearly mentioned on the product page.

Returns

• Returns apply only to ready-to-ship products.
• Accepted only for transit damage or wrong product delivered.
• Must be reported within 24 hours with:
• Full unboxing video
• Clear photos
• Product must be in original packaging.
• Custom-made products are non-returnable.

Refunds

• Approved returns are refunded as store credit (valid for 6 months).
• No cash/card refunds.
• Cash refund only if Vilaav Homes cancels the order.

Cancellations

• Orders can be cancelled within 5 hours by emailing
  support@vilaavhomes.com.
• A 70% cancellation fee applies.
• Remaining 30% is issued as store credit.
• After 5 hours, no cancellations allowed.
• Custom orders cannot be cancelled once design/production starts.

Replacements

• Only replacement parts are provided for genuine defects.
• Defective part must be shipped back by the customer.
• No full product replacements.

Not Eligible for Return

• Missing original packaging
• Customer damage/assembly issues
• Natural wood variations or minor marks
• Complaints after 24 hours
• Used/altered products

Our furniture is crafted using natural materials such as solid wood, veneers, natural stone, and premium upholstery. Each material has its own natural characteristics, which can lead to slight variations from piece to piece.

Wood Disclaimer

Wood may show natural variations in grain, knots, texture, and color tone. Minor changes in shade or finish can occur due to handcrafting, batch variation, or natural aging. Wood can naturally expand, contract, or develop minor hairline cracks based on humidity and temperature. Slight dimensional variations may also occur due to manual craftsmanship.

Stone Disclaimer

Stone surfaces such as marble and granite may show veining, color shifts, mineral patterns, pits, micro-cracks, or natural marks. These are inherent to natural stone. Some stones may develop patina or dullness over time. Spills, especially acidic or colored liquids, can stain if not cleaned promptly.

Upholstery Disclaimer

Upholstery fabric may have slight differences in tone, weave, or texture depending on lighting and batch variation. Cushion firmness will soften naturally with use. Minor wrinkles and fabric settling are normal. Natural leather may show patina, wrinkles, or shade differences.
Color & Image Disclaimer
